What Separates Good Judgment From Bad Judgment

Good judgment is about making the right choices based on the information you have available. Bad judgment is making a decision based on perceiving that you have only one option. Making a good choice involves making an informed decision. Choices are options that require thoughtful output. Thinking something through is what should be done with most decision-making. Bad judgment means that you didn’t think something through properly. You refused to think about the pros and cons of your choices, such as what color car to have over checking to see if it had problems prior to buying it.
