What is Codependency?

July 8, 2020

Codependency means that one person is dependent on another to survive. Codependency is about someone taking abuse from someone close to them, be it parent, sibling, or cousin. Codependency is all about being needy on one person to solve your problems for you. Codependents often do not know how to handle things on their own. They pretend to know how to handle things but often find themselves with their tale between their legs, whimpering. A codependent person is someone who cannot stand on their own two feet because they cannot survive without the person they need to make certain their own survival. A codependent person cannot often recognize that they take abuse either such as when it is from a significant other or family member.
