Why It Took Me 10 Years to Get Stable Because of Other People’s Interference

July 2, 2018

I took 10 years of my life to get over alcohol and to get stable with my mental health. This is why I ask relatives not to offer me alcohol. I’m not taking it even if I feel forced to be polite. You can’t make somebody drink if they choose not to drink. I really do not want to be a drinker anymore. Alcohol is my kryptonite. I get compliant and do whatever the person giving me the alcohol says. I really would like to not ever be asked to drink alcohol. The person who does this is somebody who needs to apologize

This person is not involved in my life very much. I keep myself away from them due to incidences in which some demand I drink again. I’m not your drinking buddy. I will not be anybody’s drinking buddy ever again. I got stable in 2012 more or less and got myself on one more medication this year, Lamictal. You do not drink while taking medication. I have quit drinking, forever and I’m scared school or work responsibilities may push me back into drinking. I’m not into the party scene anywhere because I do not drink alcohol, period. Nobody can drag me back into drinking since I quit drinking with the help of a therapist when I paid for therapy.

People who push alcohol on other people are very insecure. I do not drink; don’t expect me to be a drinker. I drink non-alcoholic beverages such as soda, or something without caffeine in it but that is fruit flavored. Hell, you know I gave up fruit juice, which sends my blood sugar soaring. Giving up alcohol meant that I had to learn about boundaries. I had to set them too. I used to be as pushy as the next alchy. I really do not want to drink again, period, so quit offering me alcohol. I’m a trance medium you see, which means that I channel things like writing, knowledge, and Akashic records stuff. My brain takes spiritual downloads. I can’t touch alcohol again because it severely compromises my judgment. Quit asking me.
