What is Craniosacral therapy?

January 10, 2020

Craniosacral therapy is a body manipulation method of healing someone while using a relaxing effect, also used by chiropractors, and massage therapists. Those who practice craniosacral therapy feel that the CST uses pressure to circulate the cerebrospinal fluid surrounding and cushoning the brain and spinal cord. Osteopaths understand complimentary or alternative medicine as it is also called, because they dabble in some fringe stuff too. Craniosacral therapists use various manipulations on the body to help it relax. My personal experience with it outweighs my skepticism in this case, because I have had it done. It teaches me that I’m able to relax despite my 22q related constant anxiety.

Craniosacral therapy works on chronic fatigue, brain injury, autism, back pain, central nervous system disorders, (since it relaxes you), concussions, colic, fibromyalgia, immune system disorders, learning disabilities, migraines, PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder), which I need to use it for, scoliosis, also which I need to use it for, spinal cord injury, and ultimately stress. Craniosacral therapy is not total quackery, skeptical friends, although I feel chiropractic is. I have a somewhat uneven shoulder on my left side, which makes my body look lopsided. Chiropractic stuff could fix it. It is worth trying.
