Hernia Surgery and Mercury Retrograde

I have read that surgery should not be done over Mercury Retrograde if you are sensitive enough to understand what that means. But then again, astronomers would tell you that they don’t believe in this stuff. Anyway though, Mercury Retrograde is a thing, for us New Agers, its something that has verifiable effects which doesn’t matter if you believe in it or not. Some of my friends deal with their water heater breaking over this time period. I’m trying to learn about gemstones, and this generally boggles my mind with the question of why? Silly question, I know, but the thing is, I’m learning about crystals to see if it has value or not.
