Why I Want to Become a Psychiatrist

I want to become a psychiatrist in order to help people get the treatment they need, whether the United States turns into a free health care state or not. The thing is–I didn’t give myself the opportunity to get treatment until I was 28. This is because I went through a dumb 18 year old stage, even though I was of age and therefore allowed by the state to seek proper medical care which my family talked me out of at that age, since they would rather sabotage me through getting me to drink. Someone with autoimmune thrombocytopenia should not be drinking, period. Alcohol suppresses the immune system. Alcohol is a bad thing to do to yourself in general but it is pretty available on this planet. I’m sorry to everybody who had to watch me drink in those days, yes– it got disturbing. I want to get a drug and alcohol rehabilitation certificate.
